This is a double headed hammer, one end having a
narrow magnetic head,(very useful for getting small tacks and gimp pins into awkward places) and the other having a replaceable nylon tip, preventing damage when
using decorative nails.

A professional Beechwood Mallet used in conjunction
with a Ripping Chisel. It is important to use a mallet when striking any wooden handled tool to prevent it from damaging the handle.

Used for removing the tacks holding the old webbing and fabric. To lift the tack out, hold the blade on the edge of the tack and strike the handle with a Mallet. Tacks should be ‘ripped out’ in the direction of the grain to avoid splitting the wood. This is a quality tool with good balance. The forged steel blade has the corrct angle on the chisel edge and is held in a tough translucent amber handle.
