Pre-woven cane, sometimes known as ‘machine cane’ or ‘cane webbing’, is standard seating cane partially woven mechanically on looms, with only the diagonals being woven by hand. This cane comes in the standard 6 way design and is used on modern furniture for seats and backs, fitting into a groove rather than in holes. This cane can also be used as a decorative material, for screens, doors, room dividers etc.
